We humbly invoke the aid of Lord Ganapati

There are currently some 100 major wildfires raging through a dozen Western states, and the human death toll nears 30 people, with almost as many missing. The skies of California, Oregon, and Washington have turned eerily orange and brown as firefighters work to snuff out the flames. Every day the devastation to land, wildlife and people increases, as prophesies originally thought would be fulfilled in the 2050s or 2060s are happening right now. Yet, here in the western US, fire season is only just beginning.
It now appears that parts of Earth are undergoing some kind of initiation by fire. While the coming springtime may bring initiation by water to other areas, it does seem clear that a huge cleansing is in process on our precious planet. As bodhisattvas in training, we are surely all touched deeply by the mammoth loss so many sentient beings are experiencing and the devastating grief that will surely follow. In Oregon, fast-moving fires heading toward each other are threatening to merge into mega-fires, as the state prepares for what it is calling a “mass fatality event.”
I urge us all to redouble our efforts in drawing the stream of Divine Essence we know as Lord Ganesh ever more powerfully into the spreading inferno. As Master so emphatically notes, we will see a peaceful world when we can project a peaceful world. I believe this is also true for changing the course of the expanding inferno with which Earth is now confronted. We must use our cumulative power of creative projection, whereby we project images of the western states being lush and green, as they are during springtime. It is not that we deny what is taking place so much as we replace it with mental images of another reality. In this way, our meditations become tantra, and as we inwardly create a new reality for areas undergoing initiation by fire, we humbly invoke the aid of Lord Ganapati.
May the field of Light we know as Him, bring cool temperatures and a rain of grace that quenches even mega-fires, and returns life to Earth’s precious soil once again. As we visualize blackened ground giving way to the green of new life, may we experience a resurrection, both inwardly and outwardly. May our good intentions and bold visualizations represent the two wings of a Phoenix arising from flames and ashes.
Humbled by the overwhelming power of the initiatory process, I wish you all peace.

I am immensely grateful for the divine intervention that graced Colorado in the course of the wildfires that raged out of control. The past week has been nothing short of miraculous. I am also immensely grateful to all who have rallied in this powerful mantra drive supplicating Lord Ganapati’s aid. We are indeed fortunate to witness the power of His abundantly flowing grace!
Within 24 hours of the request going out to Master’s spiritual community, the two smaller fires were completely extinguished. Within 48 hours, the Pine Gulch fire, then the second largest wildfire in Colorado history, jumped from 7% contained to 19% contained. Within 72 hours, it was nearing 40% containment, and this evening, while the fire continues to burn from the Western slope to the Continental Divide, it is now just under 50% contained. Currently, it is only 2,000 acres away from being the largest fire in the state’s history, and has destroyed 136,000 acres of mountain wilderness.
The Grizzly Creek fire, burning just east of Glenwood Springs reached 61% containment as of Wednesday morning. That level of containment was not believed to be possible for several weeks, and the turn of events has surprised everyone. Interstate Highway 70 has been opened, although caution is urged due to small fires popping up and the threat of massive rockslides. So far, over 32,000 acres have been destroyed, which is about 50 square miles. Although the fire appeared to surround the remote and beautiful Hanging Lake, when the smoke cleared, the forest service noted “the Hanging Lake miracle.” To everyone’s surprise and delight, the trails and infrastructure appear to have been spared damage, although no one seems to be able to explain how this could be. Below is a photo of this iconic high altitude lake.
Because there are wildfires raging all across the southwest region of the U.S., let’s redouble our mantra efforts, giving particular attention to California, where hundreds of fires continue to burn. Two intense rolling thunderstorms brought down thousands of lightning strikes, and ignited over 600 fires. In your visualizations, please see Lord Ganapati spraying oceans of etheric water over the entire Southwest, particularly California. Hold supreme compassion for the terrible suffering being experienced by people and wildlife, and visualize the etheric water being rained down turning into rainbow light when it hits the many inferno sites.
By the power of our pure intentions and the grace of Lord Ganesh, may the wildfires raging on planet Earth be utterly quenched. May the land be cooled, and all beings that suffer be comforted in their fright and despair. So be it!

Below is a link for a special message I recorded today. It is time for us to once again supplicate Lord Ganapati’s intervention in the massive wildfires that are devouring much of western Colorado. The smoke generated by multiple fires has us all experiencing burning eyes, lungs, and throats, and spiritual help is truly needed. Some fire department officials are saying these fires will not be contained until snow comes later in the year. Other sources say partial containment will come before that, but not until well into the month of October. Conditions are utterly surreal, with dense smoke making the mountains invisible that surround our little towns.
Thanks in advance for your committed service to Earth and all beings who are suffering from such remarkable demonstrations of Nature’s power unleashed and uncontrolled. May all who have lost homes and suffered the scorching of their land be comforted in their loss. May all the creatures, both wild and tame, be granted peace, rest, and physical comfort from the terrifying wildfires they now flee. May a gentle rain of blessing fall upon parched land, fields of ash, burned flesh, and all tormented beings in their flight for life. So be it!
Please join me in another mantra drive to touch the heart and tap the power of Lord Ganapati.

The message below was sent to the MasterDK admin office by Stan, a student who lives in Europe. In it he shares his experiences with COVID-19 both before and after attending the Live Zoom Q&A Teleconference held on 4 April 2020 also called the 'Pandemic of Fear' teaching.
"This Poem i wrote in the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The painting of The “Virus” made by a friend of mine. He was a bit anxious but i convinced him to paint it like this. It is some kind of an Image of the mindset I felt in the beginning of this Fear Pandemic.
After the Group- Session of Yesterday (for me the first one to experience live), i experienced a great realization. It was a great difference to be in a live session then afterwards hearing the recording. It was a very deep healing and a huge step from the small heart to the big Heart. I hope you can share this with Kathlyn and tell her my heartfelt Gratitude for being a part of this spiritual Community.
Thank you all,
Thank you Stan for sharing your very serendipitous experiences with the spiritual community across the planet!
I am transported into a much larger picture
As we ponder our current state in the pandemic crisis that is gripping Earth, I think we being called to move into a larger perspective than our normal egocentric focus. Oh, yes; we must still attend to the mundane parts of being in physical bodies, but our standard social proclivities are now altered, and we must discover who we are without our previously standing “normal” social exchanges. For most of us, the pandemic stories we generate and experience are often fairly solo. The mind goes to “my issues with restricted mobility, my physical needs, my likelihood of contracting the disease, my boredom, the increased stress in my family relationships,” etc. Here in the U.S., the number of police calls for domestic violence have risen, which seems to indicate that a lot of people are not doing so well in the face of this global crisis.
There is so much chaos and suffering to experience and integrate. Yet, when I look at such inspiring images as the one at the top of this post, an immediate calm floats over me. I am transported into a much larger picture, and I realize that it is probably a better part of wisdom to pay attention to the compelling nature of such imagery. Somehow, when we view matters from the perspective of our planet, we are graced with a reality so much larger than sickness and death. Indeed, we are offered a moment of perfection in an otherwise imperfect global experience. While viewing this image changes nothing in the due course of the pandemic or the looming financial and economic crises, something does change: me. I am expanded subtly, but palpably, and I somehow take encouragement from remembering I am an offspring of this beautiful planet. Perhaps it works that way for others of you, as well.
So, with the intent of opening to a little inspiration, here is a link to a remarkable video, narrated by Carl Sagan some 25 years ago. The link below was recently forwarded to me by the kindness of Swami Chidrupanada, and although I remember having seen it a number of years ago, it spoke to me in an entirely new manner, given the stresses of planetary life at the current moment. Click here to re-experience a NASA moment, when a spacecraft with camera was exiting the solar system and the camera was turned back for one last look at Earth across the incomprehensible expanse of space. Enjoy, and be inspired!

Visualizing A strong bridge of Glorious Rainbow Light
Hi Everyone: I am Chari, one of Master’s students who agreed to “Commit to Sit” to saying the Meditation for a New Age both morning and evening for the first three months of 2020.
One problem: my ego!
I had awakened one morning from a terrifying dream. My home was completely destroyed in some sort of catastrophic disaster along with everything I owned. I could find no one left alive to help me, no food, no supplies. I was destitute and paralyzed with fear.
When fully awake, I was extremely sick to my stomach (I normally have the stomach of a goat, minus the tin cans). I was having the most negative thoughts zoom through my mind at top speed, and I couldn’t stop them – in short, I was out of control. I realized I had to change my thoughts and behavior in case these deadly new emotions could actually become a reality.
I had just re-read the Six Perfections the evening before, and realized I was coming up short on two of them, self-discipline and concentration. I revamped my daily prayers and determined that I had to change the way I listened to The Meditation for a New Age, a pivotal piece to give me the faith to get me through uncontrollable times. My ego would give me myriad reasons not to pay attention to this meditation – back pain, cattle prod to the feet, and whining about the background music were only a few.
So now, instead of me listening to the words of the meditation as they are spoken to my Present self , I now see through the eyes of my Future self , who is standing on a threshold above the earth with a huge gathering of other Future selves. They are looking down on their Present selves and radiating such love and gratitude for them, for they are living in the world which the Present selves have manifested for them by saying the Meditation for a New Age morning and evening daily. These future selves of ours are visualizing all the actions and emotions that the meditation asks for, knowing that visualizing it will help us merge with them sooner, and we will live as One in this peaceful, happy and just world we have manifested together.
A fairy tale? Not for me! The act of visualizing the meditation through my Future Self’s eyes for my Present Self’s benefit allows me to have the faith that there is a strong bridge of glorious rainbow light between the two selves, and I and all the other devoted and disciplined people who are meditating to help ourselves get through this chaos are already on it, and each of us has a very special Being to greet us with love on the other side.
Thank you VFF member Carol G. for the wonderful rainbow photo
And the people stayed home.
And read books, and listened, and
rested, and exercised, and made art,
and played games, and learned new
ways of being, and were still. And
listened more deeply. Some
meditated, some prayed, some
danced. Some met their shadows.
And the people began to think differently.
And the people healed.
And, in the absence of people living
In ignorant, dangerous, mindless,
And heartless ways, the earth began to heal.
And when the danger passed,
and the people joined together again,
they grieved their losses, and made
new choices, and dreamed new
images, and created new ways to live
and heal the earth fully,
as they had been healed.
A Complete Rebalancing of the World
This is Gilles. I greet you, dear Ones, and bow to the Divine energy present in all of us.
I was reading a post by Anna Merkaba this evening (March 15) and a piece of it caught my eye. Here are Anna’s words. “I feel that this virus is just the tip of the iceberg; it is here to point us to that which is beneath, that which we cannot yet see, but are being forced to pay attention to. As terrible as this virus may seem, it is really here to assist us in awakening all of humanity.”
Personally, I [Gilles] feel that this virus hasn’t accomplished much yet; perhaps it is preparing us for what is yet to come, but it hasn’t achieved anything in terms of rebalancing the forces of power that dictate how we live and how we breathe.
What I am referring to are the so-called most powerful countries in the world, as defined by their economic performance, the G7, the G20, or the G-whatever. Did any of you have a chance to reflect on who’s been affected by the pandemic that is bringing all that s… out of humanity?
Mostly countries in North America, western Europe and a few influential countries in Asia, starting with China.
I have a friend who lives in Ivory Coast. I asked him last week how badly his country was affected. He responded, “We have one case and it is under control. It is the same in Senegal and I also heard about one case in Gabon.”
It is not about geography, dear Ones, it is about power. Power and arrogance. What I call “rebalancing of the world” is about re-equalizing the power structures in the world, and it is obvious to me that the countries that are affected first and foremost are the most … arrogant. And the most powerful as well.
I was browsing the headlines of a North American media this evening and it read, “What are we going to do when the Earth reopens?” Fifty countries are under duress and that is the whole world that is suffering. Ego, self-importance. We are the world. The rest may not even exist.
Another recent example was offered by a candidate in the democratic primary in the United States. This person entered the race late and spent five hundred million dollars in advertising to end up nowhere. Did he think one minute that this money could have been better employed by feeding the malnourished and taking care of the frail people all over the planet? All this money that went to waste, that only served an “ego purpose,” disappeared in less than two months.
How many people do you think we could feed, and for how long, with five hundred million dollars?
Arrogance, self-importance, economic power and a sense that one country (or a few of them) must, or have to, lead the world; these are the causes of this whirlwind of mental and psychological disarray.
What is needed is primarily a readjustment of what has been damaged and sabotaged over the centuries—the human spirit. The world as we know it could be divided between the ‘haves’ and the ‘haves nots,’ knowing that millions of people in the world do not have enough money to feed their family on a daily basis.
It is this kind of economic injustice that needs to be addressed; in fact, that needs to be crushed, and a ‘resilient virus’ that sadly killed 10,000 people may not do the work. In fact, it simply cannot, because people are not seeing these causes for what they are; they are not waking up, and it doesn’t seem to bring decision-makers to reason properly. Just the contrary, thereby creating more fear and chaos.
What we need is what I call a “spiritual earthquake;” one which will crush those economic egos and bring everyone to a level that feels—and is—more egalitarian.
The time is now, dear Ones. The storm is beginning, I shall say, and it must engulf everything that needs to be overhauled, destroyed, or shattered. A Phoenix cannot rise out of crumbling structures; these structures have to be down to the level of ashes, to the level of dust.
And it seems that we, as a human race, still have some way to go before we get to that place where we can call for a “true rebirth.” A rebirth of the human spirit, a rebirth of every one of us, in the depth of our lives.
Then, perhaps, we will see with fresh eyes what this new world is about. Peace, love, fraternity, compassion and a genuine desire to support one another, without expecting anything in return.
A world where we are One.
A Daily Spiritual Practice
Once again Master is offering guidance around the importance of having a daily spiritual practice. His current focus draws aspirants from around the world to join in group spiritual practice based on the Meditation for a New Age, which can be downloaded free from the MasterDK.com website by clicking here. Participating with a group of meditators is valuable because it connects one’s individual spiritual practice to a vaster field of consciousness.
This guided meditation is full of words and phrases that fuel the mystery and make me continue to wonder how Master keeps coming up with all these teachings that inspire the development of human consciousness
There was a time when I marveled at how Master could continuously offer meaningful teachings year after year. I often wondered: How does He do this? It was a mystery my mind sought to unravel. One answer seemed to be related to having access to ancient wisdom teachings. What He is offering is rooted in truth passed down through the ages.
Just as Earth’s beauty and sunshine excite the senses with their beauty and mystery, the messages coming through Master’s words also sooth and embrace my mind and calm the chaos of the emotional realms.
One feeling of consistency I can count on from my reflections around Djwhal Khul’s teachings is peaceful moments. Over the years, I have noticed different teachings each seem to generate a similar inner state of calmness. This ongoing contact with Master’s teachings has provided my inner mind with a vocabulary of phrases to recite that help me focus. They all seem to evoke echoes of both ancient wisdom and guidance for the survival and evolution of living beings going forward.
One moment the mind seems to be caught up in a noisy, rush hour traffic intersection. Then very suddenly a phrase arises that is clearly one I have heard previously from Master. Seemingly, out of nowhere, some part of my mind is reciting “Om Mani Padme Hum;” “May you be happy;” “Doesn’t this seem real?” – to name a few. Since starting the “Commit to Sit” Meditation for a New Age, daily spiritual practice there are new phrases sprouting up among the others.
Meditation for a New Age is filled with seed thoughts, thoughtfully scattered to root, grow and blossom in the time/space of human consciousness during the Age of Aquarius and bring limitless joy to all of creation. Are there any phrases from the meditation that have a special impact for you? Please share your experiences in the comments area below this article, which is on the Vajra Flame Website Blog page.
May WE create well this new age.

WE ARE ALL ONE...YES INDEED!
This is Franci. Like most of you, I have been listening to the exploding news about the coronavirus with a cacophony of emotions including fear, disbelief, and a generalized disorientation. Just three weeks ago I was visiting friends in Palo Alto and having a wonderful time. Now that city is on quarantine, along with the whole San Francisco Bay area.
Flying home from San Jose was an uncomfortable experience as I was vividly aware of all the coughing and sneezing around me, emitted by individuals who were totally preoccupied with their smart phones and largely oblivious to the impact they were having on others in the cramped plane environment. I couldn’t wait to return to the safety of my small town in the Colorado mountains away from any large city.
However, shortly after my return I learned that a tour group of several young people from Australia had visited Aspen a few days before and spent several days there having fun. One of them, after returning to Australia, tested positive for the virus, and now, just two weeks later 13 of her group are quarantined in Aspen and have all tested positive for Covid-19. Yesterday, the first case was confirmed in my town of Glenwood Springs, some 40 miles away from Aspen. The victim was a young woman who went to hear a band perform in Aspen that several of the visiting Australians also attended. Upon reading the news that the Australian woman had tested positive, she tried to get tested right away, but it took her several days to finally convince someone to give her the test. And there you have it!
In the last few days, most schools in Colorado have been dismissed, all public gatherings banned, ski areas closed, all athletic clubs and hot spring pools closed, and yesterday the Governor of Colorado announced that all restaurants would be closed except for some take-out! Very strict “social distancing” guidelines are in place which are largely being respected. In only a few short days, I have watched my community go from largely scoffing at the restrictions, to disappearing from the streets. Like most places in the country, toilet paper, disinfectant, and similar items are nowhere to be found. Entire aisles in the grocery store are completely stripped as people are engaged in panic buying and stockpiling a month of food supplies.
The S&P 500 fell over 20% in fifteen trading days, which is twice as fast as happened in 1929. As they say in the conventional reality, “all bets are off.” Almost instantly entire industries were shut down: airlines, cruise ships, shipping, restaurants, sports, live entertainment, and conventions, to name just a few.
Today several states are supposed to have primary elections where voters choose a candidate to run for president. But people, especially the elderly, have been told not to go out in crowds, so there is much consternation regarding if, when, and how people will vote. In the midst of all this, our country is trying to go forward with a presidential election in November, but do so without rallies, public gatherings, or shaking hands, which heretofore has been standard fare.
During my many years as a practicing psychotherapist, one of my favorite theoreticians was Kazimierz Dubrowski, a Polish psychiatrist and psychologist who developed the Theory of Positive Disintegration. Unlike other theorists, such as Abraham Maslow, who felt that levels of human development were hierarchical building blocks, Dubrowski surmised that tension and anxiety were the drivers for human growth and development. This stress led to a complete disintegration of the person’s previously held worldview, and from this disintegration, a new integration emerged, sort of like the phoenix rising from its ashes.
It seems to me that this process of positive disintegration is well underway on a societal level, as our current understanding of boundaries, healthcare delivery, financial well-being, individuation and interconnectedness, and even safety are all up for major redefinition. We are all witnesses to the disintegration, but not yet sure where this whole process of evolution is headed. These “liminal” (from the Latin word limen) times can be quite frightening, especially when our everyday life is changing so rapidly, with no assurances whatsoever about the future.
Personally, I am being grounded at this time by Master’s Meditation for a New Age. I listen to it first thing in the morning, and also just before going to bed. I also find the mantras that Master recently gave us to be incredibly soothing and often play them in the background during my work. I would like to extend special thanks to Swami Chidrupananda for providing us with links to sung versions of these mantras, which I find truly helpful.
I feel so incredibly grateful for the years of training that I have had as Master’s student, which are truly helping me maintain equilibrium during all the chaos. We truly are “the fortunate ones,” as Master instructs, “who have come seeking liberation for humanity.” Let us all dedicate ourselves to creating a healthy planet where there is safety and security for every living being. We truly are all One experience.
